And here an update: I can inform you that on monday when the first people got affected by the poison in the petstore at Hoogeveen the store was closed. From that point in time the firebrigade looked after the 7.000 animals that were still in the store.
By the end of the week 80% of the pets had either died or were seriously ill because of the chemical poisonening. The other 20% were suffering from symphtoms as well and would probably get sicker as the days would pass. Now the authorities tried to make people believe most animals died from: stress……yeah right, let me see what would be the stressfactors? The store was CLOSED so nobody could upset the animals in ANY way. That’s what I call an attempt to cover up what really happened: that they died because of the chemical poison in the store.
It was decided to destroy (kill) the animals that were still alive. Now this must have been a very strong chemical if it was able to kill 7.000 small animals, like birds, rabbits, gerbils, and wel….kayman.
It’s still NOT clear what kind of chemical caused all this, well that’s what the authorieties claim. What is clear to me is that somebody must have left it in that store……but WHO and WHY is still a mysterie.
