When you thought you heard it all and experienced it all, suddenly Al Gore pays the Netherlands a visit to give a lecture about Global Warming and what the Netherlands could do to prevent more CO2 emissions.
He gave a lecture for ‘upperclass’, like politicians and people who own businesses and people from organizations. Businesses felt it necessary to invite him to speak….for a certain amount of money of course. Al Gore was invited, for their personal gain…because they wanted his approval for so called ”green” things they developed. They placed their products and ideas in the corridors that he had to walk through in the hope he would give his ‘blessing’. But he gave them no attention at all. He wasn’t interested, he actually arrived LATE at the location where he would give the lecture.
Al ‘the Beaver’ Gore explained to the 2000 people that gathered to listen to him how to deal with global warming caused by us humans, according to Al Gore that is. He talked for over 45 minutes, he didn’t listen to anybody of course he only talked for 45 minutes. Journalists were not allowed to attend the entire lecture, only 5 minutes of it. Because the content of that lecture had to remain ‘exclusive’. The journalists who were allowed to attend the lecture had to sigh a form in advance in which they agreed not to ask Al Gore any questions…..oh yes he doesn’t want to debate anyone does he.
If you wanted to listen to Al Gore speak you had to buy a ticket. One ticket costed 600 euro’s. That’s roughly 800 dollars. Multiply that by 2000 and you have a nice amount of money in your pockets! The only thing that they showed on Dutch television from the lecture was Al Gore stating that the financial crises and global warming were connected and that it was all part of a new way of living, the start of a new era. Our minister that deals with enviromental issues in our country (a real greeny) who attended the lecture of course, stated she was ‘inspired’ after Al Gores lecture.
Now let me just tell you a few things to make you start thinking about what I just wrote and about Al Gore his motivs. MONEY people. He only wants to earn money, take it from your pockets to stick it in his own. He doesn’t believe that men is responsible for global warming. Let me give you a few reasons why that is the case in my humble opinion:
1) IF Al Gore really thinks that humans are responsible for Global Warming and it’s so important to spread the word and hand solutions you don’t charge 600 euro’s to explain people this so important message
2) IF Al Gore really thinks that humans are responsible for Global Warming than you allow all media to be present at your lecture. You don’t forbid them to record it. Instead you ask them to show the entire thing on dutch tv.
3)IF Al Gore really thinks that humans are responsible for Global Warming you record that bloody speech and show it to those politicians and business people and you don’t fly around the world to speak, cause airplanes pollute the air right.
4) IF Al Gore really thinks that humans are responsible for Global Warming you don’t tell journalists that they are only allowed to attend 5 minutes of the lecture but let them hear everything you have to say. Because it’s so important for people to know right? But 5 minutes is just enough time to give Al Gore publicity so people book him for more lectures….which means more money for Al Gore.
5) IF Al Gore really thinks that humans are responsible for Global Warming you allow journalists to ask you questions, to ask for more explanations or more information but instead they had to sign a form in which they agreed not to ask Al Gore ANY questions at all.
If people can watch that lecture on tv why pay 600 euro’s for a ticket to go see him right? Al Gore would loose money if the lecture would be shown on tv. Maybe Al Gore was afraid they wanted to ask him questions that he couldn’t answer? And we all know he doesn’t like to answer questions right. He likes to talk but not debate people because he knows there are a lot of people who don’t believe in his Global Warming Religion and can debunk his theories. Especially journalists who ask difficult questions, so you don’t want to talk to them if your name is Al Gore.
I can hink of about a hundred reasons why I don’t want to listen to him. Well I wouldn’t even pay 6 eurocents to listen to Al Gore. Thankfully a newspaper in the netherlands wrote: Al Gore talks but doesn’t listen……well at least some people seem to get it!
